Nokia N80 is a quad band GSM 3G multimedia phone, with a 2 Mega pixel camera, and a MP3 player. The N80 is a combination of chrome, and metal, giving it a solid feel. It has an integrated 3 Megapixel camera with flash. Camouflaging the lack of an auto focus, are two focus modes; close up mode (17.5 cm to 23.4 cm), and normal mode (68cm to infinity). Its slider design contributes to the thickness of the phone. To make it more interactive with its user, there is a five-way scroll key, and additional soft keys for the joystick, which facilitates gaming. The major control keys are accessible on the slide in closed mode, with very little need to open the slide, except when writing messages or inputting other data. The keys are large and sufficiently spaced and the screen has a resolution of 352 x 416 pixels and 262,144 colors. In addition, the camera has a self timer, 10 scene modes, brightness, and contrast, sharpness, color saturation, white balance, exposure compensation, and color tones adjustments, image quality settings, and video stabilization. When switching to landscape orientation for the purpose of photography, the phone is held just like a traditional camera. Another impressive feature is the video capture at a resolution of up to 352 x 288 pixels, and an additional VGA camera mounted on the front of the phone for video calls. The N80 is a member of the Nokia Xpress Music brand, and easily synch's with the Windows Media Player. Music can easily be transferred, and managed from a PC to the mobile via Bluetooth, enabling sharing of videos and multimedia. The Nokia N80 also includes a stereo FM radio and Nokia Visual Radio. |
