The Citizens of Humanity brand was developed by Michael Glasser and Jerome Dahan, the brilliant minds who came up with the concept for Seven For All Mankind jeans. Like Seven jeans, Citizens of Humanity jeans feature stylish denim in tight fits, designed to appeal to hip, affluent urban audiences. You can find Citizens of Humanity jeans for both men and women, and these denim pieces can be distinguished by their iconic etches on the back pockets.

Glasser and Dahan have done much to advance the cause of the vintage denim jean as well as to utilize their bully pulpit as fashionistas to champion human rights. They donate a significant chunk of the sales of Citizens of Humanity jeans to an organization called Conservation International.

There are five main styles of Citizens of Humanity jeans. Kelly Jeans offer a true-to-size fit. These are fun to wear every day and feature low pockets and a slight flaring halfway down the leg. Kelly Jeans are designed to round out the buttocks and to add shape to the legs. Naomi Jeans are designed to be worn with boots.
