Abyss is a European towels and robes manufacturing company that derives its name from the Greek word abussos, which means continuous or without an end. The name is direct reflection of the company policy of continuously creating the highest quality bath textiles for its ever growing consumer base. The founder created the parent company in the north-west region of Portugal, when he was not able to get good quality towels for his own house. This lead to start of Abyss European towels, in the year 1996. Abyss towels are made using 100%, Giza 70 Egyptian Cotton. The towels are woven in the technologically advanced looms that can weave any kind of texture design in any weight of yarn. All these towels are woven on both 500, and 700 grams. The towels are weaved in three directions of warp, weft, and pile. The towels are durable, absorbent, and lint free. These towels dry faster, and are light, and soft to touch. The abyss towels come in numerous colors and are dyed using the piece-dying method. The dyes used are low impact, and are environment friendly. The Abyss towels have a standard bias trim. The bias is continuous, and ends with tasteful curved corners. The labels of the brand are inserted on the bias sideways so as they don't stick out, and come in the way of the user. The label too is dyed as the same color as the towel to match it. All the Abyss towels are pre-shrunk, and pre-washed. These towels are available in different sizes, and patterns to suit individual needs. Along with towels the company also produces exceptional bath robes. The Abyss towels and robes are considered to be a luxury brand, and are sold throughout Europe, United States, Asia, and South America. |
