The Billionaire Boys Club was a Southern Californian social club founded by Joseph Gamsky also known as 'Joe Hunt' in 1983. Joe Hunt was infamous for committing two murders when funds for the Billionaire Boys Club ran short, and was sentenced for life imprisonment with no chances of parole in 1987. Today the name Billionaire Boys Club is associated with a high profile clothing line established by Pharrell Williams and Nigo. Pharrell Williams also called 'Skateboard P'; the other half of 'The Neptunes' and is also the front man of the group N.E.R.D. Nigo is well known for his association with another line of clothing called 'Bathing Ape'; he also previously worked for 'Boon', a men's magazine. The Billionaire Boys Club clothing line is a limited edition collection of T-shirts, sweat shirts, jackets, jeans, shirts, polos, shorts, and other accessories. This clothing line is available from only a few retailers worldwide except in Japan where it is widely retailed. Highly inspired by the hip-hop genre, the Billionaire Boys Club is a favorite among emerging hip-hop artists and existing hip-hop moguls. This line is also slightly inspired by Japanese street styles, hence including bright and vivacious colors with bold and intriguing patterns. Ice Cream is another clothing lien launched by the same duo. Termed by the creators as clothing for the skaters, this line is also a limited edition manufacture. The line includes T-shirts, polos, shirts, shorts, sweat shirts, jackets, jeans, and accessories. The basic colors used are red, blue, grey, black, yellow, and white.
