Emachine D6417

The eMachine D6417 is a desktop personal computer with a Red-Hot AMD Athlon 64 processor, 256 MB of DDR memory, and 80 GB hard disk. The operating system used in the D6417 is Microsoft Window XP Home Edition SP2. Each of the three Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) built-in in the computer use all active paths and transmit addresses and data signals. The three PCI slots in the desktop enable users to install PCI cards such as audio cards, graphic cards, video cards, Modems, and Network Interface cards. The D6417 has 128 MB of shared video memory. The LAN card and the 56 kbps Modem are installed in the desktop to support communication. Additional technology installed in the D6417 includes HyperTransport. The desktop is equipped with Dual layer DVD RW combo drive one for watching movies, copying data, playing games etc. Data can be transferred at the rate of 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps. The keyboard combined in this package is a user-friendly QWERTY, which is usually equipped in most computers including laptops. Similarly, the mouse is a standard three-button one. Also provided in the package with the eMachine D6417 are two speakers. The height, width, and depth of this desktop PC are 14.5', 7.5', and 17' respectively. The eMachine D6417 is mostly used for everyday computing activities, especially for office work, where the Internet and software, programs, applications such as word, excel, email Photoshop, Dream Weaver etc are used.
