eMachines, based in Irvine, California, is a producer of inexpensive PCs. The company was launched in September 1998, a joint venture between the Korean monitor maker, KDS, and the Korean computer manufacturer, TriGem. eMachines manufactures an assortment of products such as personal computers, laptops, monitor, speakers, mice and others. The eMachines W3052 is a desktop personal computer. The W3052 comes powered with an AMD Sempron processor with 2 GHz speed, and 512 MB installed memory. The PC comes equipped with Microsoft windows XP home edition operating system. The eMachines W3052 has a bus speed of 333 MHz, a 512 KB cache memory, and DDR SDRAM. The machine is also outfitted with a 120 GB hard drive, an IDE interface, and an excellent DVD±RW dual layer drive. With the dual layer drive one can back up important data and watch movies. The W3052 sports the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX graphic processor, so users can enjoy playing their favorite computer games. It boasts a media card reader that provides lightening fast digital transfer of data. This computer supports Memory Stick, SmartMedia, Compact Flash, SD/MMC Card, Micro Drive, Memory Stick PRO memory cards. It comes outfitted with a microphone jack and headphone jack. The W3052 is equipped with full stereo eMachines speakers that provide enhanced sound quality. eMachines also offers the eMachine scroll wheel mouse so that one can quickly browse the Internet and scroll through documents.
