Technology, running at a core speed of 1.6GHz. The AMD Sempron processor is efficient at executing major softwares available in the market with relative ease, along with being highly energy efficient due to the advanced AMD PowerNow! Technology. Supported by 256MB DDR SDRAM memory, the laptop is sufficiently equipped to handle memory intensive applications such as animation and audio/video multimedia editing softwares. A 40 GB 4200 RPM hard disk drive offers enough space to load all the required applications, audio/video content, multimedia presentations, etc. For users on the move, the CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive allows them to backup data or to create presentation CDs in an instant. Coupled with the 802.11b/g built-in wireless standard with 125HSM/SpeedBooster support, the laptop integrates seamlessly into any Wi-Fi LAN or WAN network for instant connectivity.
