This server was designed to be modular, meaning you can add to it when you need more power and more memory. The P Series and the V280 are also IBM servers that can work with business growth and high-demand environments. The zSeries and the xSeries are both meant to be highly scalable for dynamic enterprises.IBM also makes the IntelliStation Workstations, which are mini-tower servers that can run Windows or Linux. These are flexible servers that can support a variety of business-related functions. These servers allow for fast graphics and hold up to 16GB of memory.There are also the pSeries UNIX servers that allow the user to run Linux and Unix at the same time. Another series is the iSeries, designed to run with Windows and Linux, and to allow mid-sized businesses to run all of their business applications from the same server. Speed and the ability to integrate easily with clusters is the focus of the pSeries.
