This unit has a 5-Patern Illumination display screen with vivid illumination and graphics display. It supports Audio CD, MP3/WMA CD; in addition, the receiver also supports reading data from CD-R/RW discs. The CD5345 is compatible with the HD-Radio format and can tune into SIRIUS Satellite radio service, along with regular AM/FM radio. The incorporated ESN theft-deterrent measure allows the user to use a designated CD or Memory Stick to control the system activation. The selected media acts as the key to the receiver and does not activate the receiver without the key. The Eclipse CD5345 makes use of the Circle Surround II (Advanced Mode) decoder for reproducing true surround sound quality music. Its 4-channel MOSFET amplifier can produce 16 Watts RMS / 50 Watts PMPO of sound per channel. The equalizer is based on a 3-band Parametric EQ module. The built-in GPS receiver unit functions as a navigation device while on the move. The E-iSERV connectivity option allows for connecting to the Internet and downloading online content.
