DMC Creative World specializes in the production of needlework threads, printed fabrics, denim, corduroy, and other materials. Since 1746, DMC has been manufacturing these creative products in Mulhouse, France. There, employees work 24 hours a day to create the products that they sell.DMC Creative World sells their products globally, with subsidiaries in over 100 countries. In 1934, DMC incorporated in the United States, basing its operation in New York City. Since then, they have moved the headquarters to New Jersey. This new location allows them to be close to the Port of Elizabeth, where all of the DMC products enter the country.The needlework threads sold through DMC Creative World include cotton, linen, wool, embroidery threads, needlepoint threads, and a variety of other craft threads. They also created the decorative stitching technique called Linea, which is used to add embellishments to needlework projects. The Linea products they have available include books, crochet cotton, and tracing stencils.Highlights can also be added to projects with Light Effects threads. This collection of colored embroidery threads has glistening properties, which can be used minimally to create a subtle effect, or liberally to create a vibrant, shiny appearance.
