A combination of talent and beauty, Elisha Ann Cuthbert possesses talent and sex appeal unlike any other young actress her age. Born on November 30, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Elisha began her career at a young age. Starting her career in 1989 by modeling for various lines of children's clothing, Cuthbert knew exactly what she wanted to do even at the age of 11. The Canadian actress hosted 'Popular Mechanics for Kids', a television show that taught kids 'how things work'. Elisha's next show, 'Are You Afraid of the Dark', was a horror-based television series, again for kids. Even though these shows started Cuthbert's career, prior to these shows, Elisha starred in four films, 'Dancing in the Moon', 'Nico the Unicorn', 'Mail to the Chief', and 'Airspeed'. Her work as a correspondent on 'Popular Mechanics for Kids', caught the eye of First Lady Hilary Clinton, who invited her to the White House for a personal visit. In 2000, the same year Elisha graduated from Centennial Regional High School, she landed the role of Kim Bauer on FOX's frantic action series, 24. In this show, Elisha finally received nationwide attention from more mature audiences. In 2003, Cuthbert had minor parts box office hits 'Old School' and 'Love Actually'. Her first big movie role came in 2004, when Elisha played a porn-star who falls in love with a high school senior in 'The Girl Next Door'. That's when the offers started pouring in. Elisha has since starred in 'The House of Wax' and 'The Quiet'. Cuthbert is currently working on four projects, 'Captivity' and 'He was a Quiet Man' to be released in 2006, and 'Cat Tale' and 'The Itty Bitty Titty Committee' which are set to release in 2007. Nicknamed 'Heesh' since her days on Popular Mechanics for Kids, this Canadian beauty has become an 'Internet goddess'. She ranked #5 in FHM's list of the 100 Sexiest Women in 2005, making her one of the most 'looked up' actresses today.
