American actress, model, and singer, Carmen Electra, was born on April 20, 1972, in Sharonville, Ohio. At birth, she was named Tara Leigh Patrick. She started her education at the Princeton High School, later moving to the Walnut Hills High School. A talented girl from young, she was admitted into the School of Creative and Performing Arts, at the age of only nine. She underwent vocal and singing training, and when she reached her teens, she was also an accomplished dancer, taking part in numerous musicals, choreographing her own dance routine. In around 1988, Electra moved to Minneapolis, living with her sister, and working as a model for the Target department stores. Four years later, she shifted to Los Angeles, where she was spotted by the musical prodigy, Prince, who gave her a recording contract with his company, Paisley Park Records, after asking her to change her name to the more exotic, Carmen Electra. She had a short stint with an all-girl rap group. In 1995, she posed for Playboy, a move which led to hosting roles in the MTV dating shows, 'Singled out' and 'Loveline'. In 1997, she was offered a regular role in the famous television series, 'Baywatch'. She also appeared in numerous movies, including Good Burger, The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human, and the horror-comedy, Scary Movie. She is also a member of the exotic dance group, 'The Pussycat Dolls'. Carmen's benevolent nature is evident with her forming the 'Head to Hollywood' organization, which enables brain tumor patients to come to Hollywood with their families, and enjoy all the facilities.
