Hulk Hogan is a renowned actor and professional wrestler. He is 6 feet 8 inches tall. His real name is Terrance Bollea. He was born at Augusta, Georgia, on August 11, 1953. Pete Bollea, his father, was an Italian-American while his mother was of multi-ethnic origins. Hogan appears occasionally on RAW for WWE and has his own show on VH1, titled 'Hogan Knows Best'. His fans identify themselves as 'Hulkamaniacs'. In the 1982 movie 'Rocky III', Sylvester Stallone cast Hogan as 'Thunderlips the Ultimate Male'.

Bollea developed a passion for music and wrestling while at high school. He studied at the Hillsborough Community College, and later at the University of South Florida. Bollea started to work out in a local gym before participating as a wrestler in a few minor contests. He joined the WWF as Hulk Hogan based on suggestions that he resembled the Incredible Hulk. In 1980, Hogan won his debut match in the WWF against Andre the Giant. He won his first WWF title after defeating the Iron Sheikh in 1984.
