American actress, Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny in Dallas, Texas on February 3, 1950. She started her career in the 1967 movie Bonnie and Clyde as a stand-in for then famous actress, Faye Dunaway. Her famous screen name was adopted by her after her character as 'Morgan' in the 1966 David Warner film, Morgan: Suitable Case for Treatment. She later moved to New York City and appeared as Jennifer Pace, a maniac in the soap opera 'Search for Tomorrow' spanning across the years 1973 until 1977.

Morgan Fairchild's brief appearance as Jenna Wade, later played by Priscilla Presley, in the hit television series Dallas in 1978 added to her admiration. In the later part of 1970's, Penthouse featured an article titled 'Watch out for Morgan Fairchild, she'll rip your face off'' on Morgan's interest and prowess in Martial Arts. Her rise to stardom was fueled by her role as the resident vixen in Flamingo Road, Constance Weldon Carlyle. She appeared in leading roles for the series 'Paper Dolls' and the series 'Falcon Crest' during the year 1984. Later she moved onto off-Broadway play 'Geniuses' commending delirious reviews from Time magazine and the New York Times. She is prominently identified for her portrayal as herself in the Old Navy clothing line television advertisements. She actively supports raising AIDS awareness and related issues and certain environmental protection issues.

Morgan Fairchild won an Emmy nomination for her characterization in Murphy Brown series. The year 1995, witnessed her appearances as malevolent Sydney Chase in the series, The City and as the mother of Chandler Bing on the super-hit series, FRIENDS. She also performed a guest role in Cybill as Andrea, the arch-rival of Cybill Shepherd.
