Hot Tubs

A hot tub is a small pool filled with hot water and used for various purposes such as soaking, relaxation, hydrotherapy, reading or meditation. Hot tubs are generally setup outdoors and they may or may-not have shelters. Most hot tubs have jets that massage the body while relaxing in the tub. Hot tubs are by and large classified as three basic styles. These are simple wooden-staved soaking tubs, fiberglass-reinforced plastic spas and bathtub-sized indoor units. Soaking tubs are built like a very large cask with wooden staves. The water in these tubs is circulated around only for heating and filtering purposes. The tub has a wooden deck that is used to enter the hot tub. They also have wooden seats around the inner surface of the tub. These tubs are maintained the same way swimming pools are looked after. The spa is quiet different from the wooden soaking tub. They are made from fiberglass- reinforced plastic and can be shaped to have a specific seating arrangement within the tub. These tubs are also equipped with hydrotherapy jets that direct the water to specific parts of the body. Jacuzzi is one of the most famous makers of spas, so much so that spas are now generally referred to as Jacuzzis. Hot tubs resembling conventional bathtubs are also manufactured. These are much smaller and can be accommodated within an ordinary bathroom. They do not contain any heating or filtration system and are filled afresh with hot or cold water. Hot tubs are very popular among individuals who enjoy a relaxing warm water bath. It is also used for hydrotherapy which is a medical treatment used to sooth pains and treats certain illnesses. Fitness enthusiasts use spas after workouts; it helps relax the worked out muscles.
