Zenith Watch

Georges Favre-Jacot one of the pioneers in watch-making, started the Zenith watch company in 1865; which is currently based in Le Locle, Switzerland. George was the pioneer in creating the concept of a watch-making manufacturer, when he was 22 years old. He brought together watchmaker artisans and provided them with all the necessities, so that they could devote themselves completely to the creation of their watches. As Georges Favre-Jacot took a walk outside in the silver night he raised his head and the heavens spoke to him. He found the movement of gigantic constellations around the Pole star parallel to the complex movements of the pivots and wheels on the axes. He then decided to name his company 'ZENITH', after the highest point in the universe. He has adopted a star as his companies' corporate identity, which symbolizes a shining good luck charm and a celestial guide towards a fruitful destiny. Zenith was founded with a set of values, which are beauty, truth, integrity, precision, and mastery over complexity; these values are ardently followed by the men and women who are part of Zenith. Till date, Zenith has lived up to its challenge of combining beauty and mechanical perfection, as well as ingeniously uniting tradition with modernity. Zenith produces the automatic integrated chronograph El Primero, the mechanical ultra-slim Elite movement, and the hand-wound 22-line 5011 K movements, which are three of the most important mechanical movements developed in the luxury watch industry.
