Adrianne Curry

Winner of the first season of America's Next Top Model (ANTM), American model, Adrianne Curry, is famous for her iron-willed, 'dare to say the truth' attitude in front of the camera. Born on the August 6, 1982 in Joliet, Illinois, Adrianne Marie Curry was a waitress; a drop-out as a junior from the Joliet West High School in Joliet, Illinois. She later entered the modeling world. Adrianne continued to model, even after her row with ANTM producer and presenter, Tyra Banks, for prominent magazines including Stuff, People, Playboy, Maxim, Marie Claire, Lucky, Macy's, and Merit Diamonds. The row was the result of a dishonored deal with 'Revlon', as promised to the winner by Tyra Banks. Curry appeared for the February 2006 issue of Playboy in a million dollar deal. She modeled for the 2005 Anne Bowen Spring collection and the Sirena Collection (Merit Diamonds) from November 2004 to January 2005 and subsequently for the Famous Stars and Straps and the Beverly Hills Choppers. She also appeared in the fourth season of The Surreal Life (2005) on VH1 accompanied by fellow houseguest Christopher Knight, whom she was dating. VH1 aired the documented life of Adrianne and Christopher Knight in the show, My Fair Brady from September 11, 2005 for a sum of US$250,000. The season finale ended on November 6, 2005, with Knight proposing marriage to Curry. The second season will follow documenting the couple's wedding preparations. On the Opie and Anthony XM Satellite Radio show aired on October 3, 2005, Adrianne revealed her bisexual orientation and prior relationships with several women in her life. Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite Radio show broadcast on January 17, 2006, saw her discussing her bisexuality in depth and her previous heroin and cocaine addiction followed by a rehabilitation course.
