Autococker is a semiautomatic paintball marker machine manufactured, and sold by Worr Game Products. This company was founded by Bud Orr,in the year 1986 and it started with the manufacture of Sniper pump marker that gained popularity within a short span of time. This device was later modified, by adding a pneumatic system to the existing Sniper. This pneumatic system could automatically re-cock the marker after firing every shot, which resulted in the formation of Autococker, in 1990. The Autococker is a pump marker, and it functions on automatic pumping mechanism. In the Autococker, a pump handle is replaced by piston, which helps to pump the gun automatically. It features a ram that is controlled by a 3-way valve. The ram, 3-way, and a regulator are placed on the front side of the gun. The cocking block is connected to the ram, and when the trigger is pressed, the 3-way sends the gas to the ram's piston. This allows cocking block to be pushed back, which results in the block pulling the bolt, and the cocking rod. At this stage, the bolt allows the paintball fall into the chamber. The cocking rod connects the hammer, and is pulled back till the sear gets connected to the trigger. The release of the trigger results in the 3-way pushing the gas further down to the piston. The cocking block is pulled in the front, and the bolt is closed. At this stage, the Autococker is ready to fire a paintball, and can be fired again by pressing, and releasing the trigger. Sniper II is another product manufactured by Worr Games Products. It can convert any semi-automatic Autococker marker into a pump action marker. It is easy to use, and install. Along with Auotcocker, Sniper is also a popular product. |
