Born in 1955, in Calgary, Alberta, Will Rafuse is one of the famous artists. He moved to Vancouver in 1986 after residing in Prairies. He enrolled himself in Capilano College in North Vancouver, and earned a diploma in Graphic Arts, and Illustration. He received another diploma in Computer Graphics and Multimedia from Vancouver Community College. He is known to paint mostly using oil, and paints in vibrant and bright colors. He is inspired by the works of famous artists like Modigliani, Gauguin, and Balthus. He paints everyday subjects such as humans, and animal's activity in a stylized way. His paintings portray life in a very positive way. Will Rafuse began his professional career in the year 1996 in Stanley's Park's Painter's Corner. His natural ability to put life into any painting with use of bold colors made him a favorite with both private as well as corporate collectors. He graduated from Capilano College's Graphic Art and Illustration program, in 1996. After finishing his course, he got employed by Robson Street Business Association to design banners. Later, he got into partnership with Canadian Art Posters. This partnership added to the popularity of Will Rafuse. The images created by him are even printed on products such as decorative clocks, textiles, dish ware, etc. Will Rafuse is also known to paint delicious pastries and cocktails, and coffee. He has painted pictures like Caf'© Mocha, Cappuccino, Caf'© Latte, and Black Coffee. These are some of his fine art work, which are related to coffee. These art prints are of superior quality, and can be framed or matted, and can look great in any room. Will Rafuse, along with being a good painter is also a humanitarian, who contributes to local and national non-profit organizations.
