DVD player is a device that is used to play DVD video standard discs. The DVD or 'digital versatile disc' is an optical storage disc that is used for storing high quality data including audio, and video. The Sony DVD players can play digital audio and are bundled with a digital remote control and headphone. It supports most digital formats such as DVD, S-VCD, VCD, CD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD+RW and MP3. It also features digital zoom, parental control, and disc lock. The portable versions of DVD players are also available, which can be used for watching movies and videos while traveling and are bundled with audio headset for personal viewing.
