Emmaljunga's philosophy has been to manufacture superior quality prams with safety as its main priority. It is a tradition that comes down from Henry L Person, the founder of the company all the way back from 1925, when the first Emmaljunga prams were developed.
Emmaljunga, is the oldest, and probably the most advanced pram factory in Europe, maintaining complete quality control, and all constituent components in an Emmaljuna pram. Since its establishment in 1925, the company's philosophy has been to manufacture high quality prams, using innovative techniques and forms of design, providing safety and function. Emmaljunga prams have now been manufactured in Sweden for more than 80 years. Precise, and systematic work has gone into the creation of every pram to ensure safety, comfort and simplicity. Prams at Emmaljunga, are not produced en masse; each pram is manufactured with care in a modern environment at the factory. From the bending of tubes, to making the wheels and plastic parts, all of these are created at the Emmaljunga factory in Sweden. Certain stages of manufacturing prams are automated whereas certain others are genuinely handcrafted. Safety tests and all materials including fabric are tested regularly during the process of manufacturing.
Emmaljunga prams are the result of efforts of cooperative psychologists, pediatricians and parents' views, along with matching accessories to make the pram ride an enjoyable experience for the child. The fabrics are chosen with great precision, where classic colors share space with new colors. Emmaljunga prioritizes on durability, lightness, and fastness. Pram requirements over the course of time have changed drastically, with parents riding cars, lighter and convenient prams are the requirement of the day. Emmaljunga offers all of these, ranging from foldable prams, to scooters, rain protective prams, etc.
