About Giorgia Palmas
Born on March 5, 1982, at Cagliari, Sardinia, Giorgia Palmas is a well-known Italian television personality. Her claim to fame lies in her appearances on 'Striscia la notizia', an Italian television program. Palmas's career began in 2000, when she was the first runners-up in the Miss World beauty pageant. In 2002, she embraced the role of the brunette velina, alongside Elena Barolo the blonde velina, in the television show 'Veline'. Thereafter, from 2002 to 2004, she was a velina in 'Striscia la notizia' that gained her a lot of acclaim. 'Striscia la notizia' translates to 'the news is sneakin'' and is meant to be a spin-off on the daily news that goes on air just before the program. Following the role of the brunette velina, she appeared in the summer edition of Lucignolo with Elena Barolo. In the same year, she appeared in the Rai 1 show, Raccomandati. She was chosen to endorse the 'Cotton Club' underwear brand. In 2005, she did a photo shoot for the calendar 'Max' that showcased seductive, provocative images of Giorgia Palmas, right from January through December. Some of the images were shot in black and white, while the rest were taken in color. The calendar was launched in 2006. The television personality has also worked in 'CD Live Estate' on Rai 2. She has been signed on for the second season as well.
