The Grim Reaper is death personified, a fictional character shown as a skeletal figure wearing a midnight black gown with a hood. His right hand has been amputated and replaced with a scythe. The magical scythe is sharp and is capable of energy blasts, but has also been used to consume the energy from mortals. The Grim Reaper has been known for supernatural achievements like the summoning of demons, creating illusions, and psychic viewing. They remove the souls of humans shortly before death and escort them until they move on into their afterlife. Reapers gather souls until they reach a certain quota. It is also said that the reaper after reaching his quota becomes immortal and the newly collected soul takes his/her place. The Grim Reapers have the ability to heal quickly, enabling a quick recovery from any physical harm incurred. They also have emotional needs and desires similar to humans. Grim Reapers have a physical body that does not age. They can interact with the living and the dead. They cannot fly but can disappear or walk through walls. The Grim Reaper is now a famous character, thanks to the media and the movies. It was the popular character from numerous entertainment shows and products, such as Nedor comics, 'Bill and Ted's bogus journey', Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Marvel Comics, 'Scarlet witch', and 'Death like me'. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, created by Maxwell Atoms, is an American animated television series. The two chief characters, Billy and Mandy are the Grim Reaper's best friends. The Grim Reaper was a biker (motorcycle) gang. Grim Reaper is also as a British heavy metal band, formed in 1979 in Droitwich, England, by Nick Bowcott.
