J Lo

JLo is the nickname of Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lopez, or JLo, is also a noted pop artist, dancer, fashion designer, and songwriter. She is also the co-owner of a product line by the same name. The JLo product lines include jewelry, lingerie, swimwear, footwear, eyewear, handbags, gloves, scarves, perfume, and so on. The JLo line was established in April 2001, when Jennifer Lopez and Andy Hilfiger, came together to form Sweetface Fashion Company, the company that owns the JLo brand. Some popular JLo products include the fragrances Glow by JLo, Body Glow by JLo, Miami Glow, Still Jennifer Lopez, and so on. In 2002, the JLo product line was taken to Canada and Central America. By 2004, it had a presence in Russia also. Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24, 1969, in New York, to Puerto Rican parents. She attended Catholic school and later Baruch College for one semester. She worked as a dancer at Manhattan clubs and soon became a part of Janet Jackson's dance troupe. She then acted for some time on television and soon got a break on the big screen in the film My Family. She went on to work in films such as Money Train, Jack, and so on. But her first big break was for the film Selena, released in 1988, in which she played the role of the talented but doomed Latino pop artist Selena. Since, then she has had several hit films to her credit, including The Wedding Planner and Main in Manhattan. JLo's pop debut album On the 6 was also a hit. She married singer Marc Antony in 2004.
