Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California on April 28, 1981. The product of a military family, she lived with her devoted Catholic parents, her brother, and her grandparents only till the age of sixteen. Since her father was in the Air Force, the family moved from Biloxi, Mississippi, and Texas before they settled back in California. From the age of five, Jessica expressed her interest in acting and took her first acting class when she was twelve. Nine months later she was signed by an acting agent. Jessica Alba's first appeared in Camp Nowhere as Gail which was released in 1994. Jessica also was featured in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penny, and afterwards appeared in several independent films. Several television roles followed for shows that included 'The Secret World of Alex Mack', 'Flipper', and 'Venus Rising'. At the age of sixteen, Jessica graduated from high school and studied acting with William H. Macy and his wife at the Atlantic Theater Company. In 1998, Jessica appeared in a first-season episode of 'Brooklyn South', in two episodes of 'Beverly Hills 90210', and in one episode of 'The Love Boat: The Next Wave'. After doing movies such as 'Never Been Kissed' alongside Drew Barrymore and as a female lead in 'Idle Hands', she got her big break when she was selected for the role of Max Guevera in the Fox sci-fi TV series, 'Dark Angel'. The show ran for two seasons and was cancelled in 2002. Since then, Jessica has acted in movies such as 'Honey' where she plays a dancer, Sue Storm in 'Sin City', a treasure hunter in 'Into the Blue', and the Invisible Woman in 'Fantastic Four'. Voted as one of the sexiest celebrities by Playboy magazine in 2006 and No.1 in the Ralph 200 sexiest women poll, Jessica Alba has definitely got the entire package. With sequels to 'Fantastic Four' and 'Sin City', along two other films which are set to be released in 2007, Jessica Alba has established herself as a talented young actress and one of the hottest celebrities on the red carpet.
