Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. is a famous sports car manufacturing company founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini. It was founded in 1963 in an Italian village near Bologna. Ferruccio Lamborghini was always interested in the field of agricultural machinery, which in turn gave rise to his tractor factory named Lamborghini Trattori S.p.A. By the late 1950's his company had expanded from tractor manufacturing to manufacture of oil-burning heaters and air-conditioner. His passion for fast cars gave birth to Automobili Lamborghini that manufactures high-performance sports cars. The latest sports car produced by the company Automobili Lamborghini is Lamborghini Gallardo. It is a car designed for daily basis use. It has a mid-rear engine and four wheel drive transmission and its body is made up of Aluminum parts. This car is a two-seater car which is 4.2 meters long in length. It provides a speed of up to 300 km/h with high acceleration capacities. The car has dry pump lubrication system that attains good lubrication even in extreme climatic conditions. This car has maximum horsepower of 500 HP and maximum torque of 4500 RPM. It has 'dual stage' front air bags and door anti-intrusion bars for the passenger's safety. This car is available in different colors such as Pearl White and Black and White tone. The first model that was introduced by this company was Lamborghini 350 GT. It was introduced in the Turin Auto show that was showcased at the end of 1963. The second model introduced after the success of the first one was 400 GT. The success of both these models gave enough finance to the company to design Lamborghini Miura, which was well-known as their first super car. Today, Lamborghini designs a variety of sports cars with good quality performance with special features such as carbon fiber constructions and good quality engines.
