| Pronounced Circa, C1RCA was established in 1992. C1RCA is based in San Celemente, California, USA. The company is involved in manufacturing skateboard footwear and was created by skateboarder Chad Muska.
Chad Muska was born on May 7, 1977 in Lorain, Ohio and is an American professional skateboarder. He started skating when he was barely 11 years old. His career in skateboarding has been sponsored by many a companies such as C1 Denim & Supply Co., TSA, CCS, C1RCA, éS, etnies, Toy Machine, and Shorty’s Skateboard. Chad Muska used his earnings to set yup his skateboarding footwear company, C1RCA and his own music studio. C1RCA is one of the leading manufacturers of skateboarding footwear. The C1RCA footwear is comprised of Pro Models, Team Models, Kids and Girls shoes. The C1RCA footwear team consists of Adrian Lopez, Colt Cannon, Peter Ramondetta, Jon Allie, Tony Tave and Windsor James. These team members are professional skateboarders themselves and work with C1RCA to design skateboarding footwear. The Team Models are models designed by all of them as a group or by part of the group. Those shoes designed an individual team member, has his/her name imprinted on the shoes.
Chad Muska took a break from skateboarding in 2004, and tried his luck at the Hollywood club scene and also dated Paris Hilton during this time. However, he made a comeback into skateboarding in 2005. C1RCA then released their first video, ‘It’s Time’, in May 2006. Apart from footwear, C1RCA is also involved in manufacturing apparel for men and women. |
