Ranked as the 28th largest company in the United States by “Forbes” magazine in 2005, Dell, Inc. was established in 1984 by Michael Dell, a student then. A year later, following the launch of the company’s first self-designed computer, Michael dropped out of school to run Dell full time. The company raked in six million dollars in the first year itself and, by 1999, became the largest seller of personal computers in the United States.
Dell has been designing and marketing some of the best products in electronics. One such product is the Dell 2405 FPW LCD monitor that can run multiple applications simultaneously without any hassles. Since the monitor is considerably wide, the process of scrolling and navigating a page is highly minimal. It features Picture in Picture (PIP) technology and Picture by Picture (PBP) technology that ensure high quality and crisp detailing of all onscreen. The screen’s position can be customized to suit the viewer’s benefit. Other features include a 19-in-1 card reader and four USB ports, two on the underside and two on either side.
The Dell 2405 has the ability to capture 1920 x 1200 resolution pictures. The strategic placements of the USB ports enable the connection of a mouse, speakers, or other attachments without the hazard of wires dangling around. The machine’s clean, sleek design is well complemented by its ultra stylish finish. The controls of the monitor are conveniently located near the bottom. The stand of the monitor is ergonomically designed to allow viewers to twist, turn, rotate, or slant the monitor to their convenience. |
