| Stampin’ Up!, a $240-million U.S. direct sales company, is engaged in the design and manufacture of a select line of decorative rubber stamp sets. The 18-year-old organization offers accessories for home décor, greeting cards, craft projects, and scrap-booking. Growing interest and high demand for decorative rubber stamping has contributed to the company’s rapid growth.
Stampin’ Up! products are sold at home workshops or via their network of Stampin’ Up! “demonstrators”, who are independent sales consultants. The products are not available via local retail stores. The rubber stamps come in coordinating sets and accessories such as papers, stamp pads while markers are offered in coordinating colors. Made of premium wood and rubber, the stamps can be assembled as per one’s style, making them cost effective. Stampin’ Up! also offers many ideas and techniques of stamping for creating greeting cards such as dry-embossing, heat-embossing, masking, two-step stampin’ and repetition, besides using background stamps, heat and stick powder, markers, spectrum pads, stampin’ pastels and water-coloring.
Stampin’ Up! products are categorized into Stamps & Stamp assembly, Stampin’ Around, Two-step Stampin’, Mix & Match, Color Families, Cards & More, Stampin’ memories and Definitely Decorative. The company currently has over 50,000 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators all over the U.S. and Canada. Though the products may seem simple, they produce results that are quite sophisticated, transformed from the ordinary to the extraordinary. |
