Wall décor or tatouage provides you with a way to decorate your walls with vibrant and brilliantly bright colors and images without paying a mural artist or making a huge mess on your own. Tatouage is a unique transfer system that you can put on any hard surface. The walls are the most recommended by artists and interior designers. Tatouage are images that you can easily transfer. so, how does it work? First you decide what kind of theme you want for the room you are decorating. For the purpose of this example, I am going to choose a little girl's room and make the theme a flower garden party. Next, I want to look for tatouage images that will accent this theme and create the wall décor that I want to create. Some of the first ideas that pop into my mind are flower borders, butterflies, a watering pail and maybe a birdbath with birds splashing around inside. Some other cute ideas to add to the theme can include fairies dancing around flowers much bigger than they are, some tall, towering flowers like sunflowers, or little critters like bunny rabbits and squirrels. After you have found all of your totouage transfers, the next step is to plan out where you will place them on the walls. You might think about trying to sketch out ideas for the placement of the tatouage around the room. Applying the tatouages is the easiest part. You simply cut out the image, peel off the backing and place the transfer against the chosen surface area. The color side will be face up. Next, you rub the design onto the wall using a ruler or craft stick. Lastly, you pull the transfer off slowly and you are left with the image on the wall! What a great way to create unique wall décor! |
