| The Fast and furious is an action film directed by Rob Cohen. The movie features actors Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, and released in 2001. A movie with the same title released in 1954. Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, leads a street racing gang. The gang is under suspicion of hijacking trucks to transport their cargo of expensive electronic equipment. Brian O’Conner, played by Walker, is an undercover cop who is trying to crack the case by infiltrating the street racing gang with the help of an auto parts dealer. As the movie progresses, O’Conner falls in love with Dominic’s sister Mia. Brian looses his Mitsubishi Eclipse to Toretto in a race and then looses it again to Toretto’s rival Johnny Tran, played by Rick Yune. He then tries to befriend Dominic by repairing and upgrading a burned out Toyota Supra. While O’Conner is desperately working to gain Toretto’s trust, he is constantly pressured by his seniors in the LAPD and FBI to end the case and catch the culprits. O’Connor is faced with a tough choice between the woman he loves or and his job and duty. The sequel to the movie is ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’ features actors Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Eva Mendes, Devon Aoki and Ludacris. The third part to the movie is titled ‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’ and does not feature any of the actors from the previous parts. |
