Comic books are popular among kids as well as adults all around the world. Many people are involved in the creation of these comic books. The writers, inkers, creators, and the comic book artists are involved in creating comic books. Adam Hughes is a talented comic book artist. The trademark of Adam Hughes is that the super heroines, damsels in distress, and fantasy figures drawn by him are always stylish, and gorgeous. He was born in New Jersey U.S.A on May 5, 1967. Adam began his career in comic books at the age of 19, and was a self- taught artist. He started working for a comic book called the Maze Agency. The interior and cover artwork was done by him for over a year.
In the year 1989, he started working with DC Comic's Justice League. Here, he worked on the covers and interiors for around two years. He also worked with Dark Horse series Ghost for a short period of time. While working on this project, he got influenced with the art nouveau, which made his work unique. Later, he switched to working with DC Comics Wonder Woman title. He worked here for almost four years, where he was responsible for creating covers for the comic book.
Adam Hughes started working on Gen-13: Ordinary Heroes for Wildstorm, which allowed him to write, and draw his own book. Some of the other projects in which Adam Hughes has provided creative inputs are Top Cow's Tomb Raider, Mark Wheatley's Frankenstein Mobster, etc. Adam creates his covers with help of both the traditional and digital mediums. Presently, he creates monthly covers for the DC comics Catwoman, and later will be instrumental in creating the poster for the awaited Wonder Woman Movie. |
