The Ryobi Group manufactures high quality and durable power tools and products. Established in 1943, the Ryobi Group first manufactured die-casting products. They soon started manufacturing printing equipment such as offset printing presses, and page layout software; later diversifying into manufacturing builder’s hardware such as door closers, hinges, and architectural hardware. Ryobi also provided a line of tools for the famous Tim Allen Show, ‘Home Improvement’.
The Ryobi Group is very serious about environmental issues. Not only do they make a conscious effort to reduce polluting the environment themselves, they also encourage other groups to do so. Along with Ryobi, more than 17 facilities and 13 companies have attained the ISO 14001 certification of their environment management systems. According to this certification, these companies and facilities along with the Ryobi group, set themselves environmental targets and objectives and aim to conserve energy, curb usage of resources, reduce wastage and promote recycling.
The Ryobi group’s corporate philosophy is “to create a sound and dynamic corporation through technology, trust and challenge.” They fully adhere to these values whilst creating advanced hardware and software for home as well as commercial use. |
