The Honda CRF 250R and CR 250R are motorbikes designed for different terrains especially the motocross racing in dirt terrains. These bikes have been used over the period of time for hard core racing in the desserts.
The Honda CR 250R is powered to life by a single cylinder two stroke engine. The engine type is 249 cc and has an electronically controlled RC valve and is liquid cooled. It has a 2.0 gallons fuel tank and a five speed transmission. The CR 250R is equipped with a six-petal crankcase reed-valve induction and a CD with electronic advance and three-dimensional mapping ignition. The suspensions are integral parts of a racing bike. The CR 250R has an inverted Showa cartridge fork suspension in the front and Pro-Link Showa single shock suspension in the rear. Both the suspensions have rebound and compression damping adjustability with the rear suspension additionally having a spring- preload.
The braking system is devised with single disc with twin-piston caliper upfront and a single disc brake in the rear. The bike has a ground clearance of 13.3 inches and a wheelbase of 58.3 inches. The TPS, throttle position sensor, monitors the torque of the bike at throttle openings. The bike is available in only one color that is red. The CRF 250R is similar in specifications to the CF 250R except that it is a four-stroke bike. It has a ground clearance of 14.2 inches and wheelbase of 58.2 inches. It is also available in only red color. |
