Honda Motor Company Limited is a Japan based engineering company that manufactures trucks, motorcycles, scooters, and robots. Apart from automobiles, Honda also makes ATVs, water craft, electrical generators, marine engines, lawn and garden equipments, aeronautical, and mobile technologies. The Honda Goldwing is a motorcycle manufactured by Honda, which debuted in 1975. The first actual production of Honda the Goldwing started in 1980 and continued till 1983.
The model that appeared in 1983 is more popularly known as ‘Honda GL 1100 Gold Wing’. It is put under the touring bike category. A four cylinder boxer engine, which is about 66.15 cubic inches, is installed in this version. The bike has a four-stroke engine that produced 83 hp (60.6 kW) @ 7500 RPM. The compression generated by the GL 1100 is in the ratio of 9.2:1. The bore x stroke proportion that is installed in the bike was 75.0 x 61.4 mm i.e. 3.0 x 2.4 inches.
