| One of the four girls chosen to be members of Diddy’s new pop-group in “Making the Band 3” after “Making the Band 1” and “Making the Band 2”, Audrey O’Day is a 21-year-old from the desert of La Quinta. Within a very short span of time, she has already acquired a super-star status. The band’s debut is slated for summer 2006. Aubrey Morgan O’Day attended the La Quinta High School at La Quinta Ca, which had a nationally-renowned dramatic program that also boasted of having Tyler Hilton as an alumnus. She graduated in 2001. O’Day has also trained at Palm Desert’s McCallum Theatre, where her performing skills were honed by Alison Lohman. She also holds double majors in Political Science and Drama from the University of California, Irvine. During her school days, she was part of the cheerleading squad as well as the dance team, besides being part of the “Actors’ Anonymous” drama club. O’Day also took membership at the prestigious Alpha Chi Omega Sorority while attending the University of California, Irvine. While in her teens, she acted in many plays and dramas in collaboration with the On Stage Theatre Company, making her first-ever stage appearance as a toddler in a College of the Desert production of “Hansel & Gretel”. Being from the desert, she has many amusing incidents to narrate. Her folks are of the opinion that it’s quite a big deal staying and working in a big town. While in the desert, she taught dances to her young fans. Red 74 hosted a party wishing O’Day all the very best, before she left her home in the desert for the bright lights of the city. |
