Gwen Renee Stefani is an American singer, and fashion designer, born on the 3rd of October, 1969. She was born in Anaheim California. She has one sister and two brothers. Her sister, Jill appeared in the No Doubt’s "Just a Girl" music video. Her brother, Eric was the keyboardist for band, but he eventually left to band to pursue a career in animation. The other members of the band include Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young.
Stefani got her first taste of success with the release of No Doubt’s album titled ‘Tragic Kingdom’ in 1995. The album had hit numbers such as "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak". She released her first solo album ‘Love.Angel.Music.Baby’ in 2004. Gwen contacted producers, The Neptunes, singer-songwriter Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes and Andre 3000 from OutKast to produce the album. The third single in the album, “Hollaback Girl” is the first US digital single to sell more than a million copies. The album peaked at #5 on both the Billboard 200 and Canadian albums chart. Her music video for the sixth single ‘Cool’ pays homage to her Italian heritage as well as superstars Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Sophia Loren, and Brigitte Bardot. At the 2005 Grammy’s, Gwen Stefani received five nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. She has also had a successful solo music career with her album ‘Love.Angel.Music.Baby’.
