Cobra Mustang 1993

The Ford Mustang is a sports car manufactured by Ford, since the year 1993. It is regarded as one the highest performing vehicles manufactured by Ford, rated even higher than the Ford GT version. In the year 1993, Ford launched a variant to the Cobra of the Fox platform, Mustang so as to increase overall sales as well as boost Mustangâ??s image. In the following years, the Cobra was also used to compete against rival companies. The Fox SVT Cobra had a high-output variant of the GT's 5.0 L OHV Windsor V8 producing 235 HP (175 kW) and 280 ftâ?¢lbf (380 Nâ?¢m) of torque. It also featured an upgraded suspension, which ensured smooth riding. Ford unveiled the Cobra R in the latter half of 1993. It was based on the Cobra, with larger brakes, altered spring rates and shock with a brand new 21 mm rear anti-roll bar. Since this was a track-oriented version, fittings such as air conditioning, sound deadening, stereo system and rear seats were not included so as to reduce the weight of the Cobra R. A total of 107 pieces of the Cobra R were built all of which were painted red. The Cobra and the Cobra R were two of the most famous models built by Mustang. The Cobra was available in two versions a 2 door coupe and a 2 door convertible.
