The 2006 Jeep Rubicon is a sturdy vehicle that is equally at ease on smooth roads as well as on bumpy terrain. The vehicle operates on a six speed gear box with manual transmission having the overdrive facility. The steering is smooth with a tilt steering column. The jeep has a 600-Cold Cranking amp battery with a 117 amp alternator and a battery saving feature. The seats are designed for comfort. There is a rear folding, detachable bench seat as well as front dual high back reclining bucket seats. The dashboard is judiciously embellished with instrumentation; a tachometer, digital clock, oil gauge, and a battery gauge. Audio warnings are emitted informing that the headlights are on, the key is in the ignition, or the seatbelts are unfastened. The doors are completely metal with rolling windows. The vehicle has a soft top with a manual air-conditioning facility. The music system consists of a CD player, AM/FM radio, satellite radio receiver, and seven speakers. |
