ALFA, or Alfa Romeo, is a renowned Italian automobile manufacturer. Established in the beginning of the twentieth century, this company was set up by Cavaliere Ugo Stella, an aristocrat from Milan in collaboration with Alexandre Darracq, the French automobile manufacturer. Initially, this company produced only Darracq automobiles, before halting car production, during World War I. The name of this company was altered to Alfa Romeo, in 1920. The first car to be sold under this new banner was the Torpedo 20-30. Alfa Romeo cars featured in many Hollywood movies such as 'the Graduate,' and 'Octopussy.' In 1986, Fiat took control of this business, forming the Alfa Lancia Spa, selling Alfas and Lancias.
This company has launched several high performance car models over the years such as the GTV, the Spider, the Giula, the Stradale, the Montreal, and the Sprint. These cars were fitted with top quality wheels, which were designed to fit all models. Mag and Zender are the main types of wheels sold for Alfa Romeo cars. Some popular models of the Zender Alfa Romeo wheels include Le Mans, Dynamic, Challenge, Monza, and Siena.
Modern Alfa Romeo wheels are mainly alloy wheels, which can dissipate heat caused by the friction on the road. There is an adequate quantity of rigid metal present in the alloy of these wheels, which make them stronger and long lasting. These wheels are also lighter, causing a reduction in rotating mass near the suspension. These characteristics result in a smoother drive, quicker braking response, and better maneuvering of the car. Gun metal or chrome is used for the finish on these wheels, which is usually black, grey, or silver in color. The various models of Alfa Romeo wheels available are strong and hard to withstand the tough conditions on the road.
