Mustang Seats was started in 1980 by Al Simmons. Simmons has a degree in engineering and has over 30 years of experience in the motorcycle industry. From a small beginning of just a dozen seats a day, they are now one of the global leaders in motorcycle seat manufacturing.

The seats are made of controlled-density foam which is hand sculpted and contoured for better support and comfort. The design also complements the machine that it sits on. The pattern is hand-designed and the seat covers are hand-stitched and then riveted to the base-plate. These base-plates have a black epoxy, powder coating on both sides to prevent rusting. The seats are designed for all-day riding, so it will maintain riding posture and also provide optimum comfort. Their range of seat styles includes Day Tripper, Cobra Style, Fastback, Custom Squareback, Regal Duke Style, Vintage Style, and Studded Style.

Simmons has traveled around America, meeting thousands of motorcycle riders to listen to their needs and wants. Using these ideas he is continuously evolving the art of seat design. Mustang seats are sold throughout North America and around the world. Mustang also has authorized dealers in Belgium, to cater to its European customers.
