Buick or the Buick Motor Company started off as an independent motor car manufacturer on May 19, 1903. The Buick Motor Company was established by the Scottish-American, David Dunbar Buick in Flint, Michigan. Buick LeSabre is a full-size car produced and manufactured by the Buick Division of General Motors. The LeSabre brand was previously known as the Buick special. The Buick LeSabre is a rear wheel drive type car. The Buick LeSabre is outfitted with a V6 engine. The 1975 Buick LeSabre Convertible comes with automatic/manual transmission. This vehicle is a full-size car. The LeSabre ranked consistently as Buick's best selling full-size car. The convertible model comes with a tilt and proves to be an ideal beach car or a summer car. The Buick LeSabre has 3 gears and a seating capacity of six. The car can run either on petrol or gasoline. The trend for performance as seen in the 1975 Buick Lesabre Convertible continues even today. The 2000 LeSabre was introduced as the Buick LeSabre 2000 on the G-body, manufactured in at GM's Hamtramck assembly factory in Hamtramck, Michigan. Some modifications that were made to the LeSabre in the previous models were a grille that did not open with the hood, smaller dimensions, new chassis which resulted in an overall stiffer structure. Buick LeSabre was America's best-selling full sized car until the end of the year 2005. |
