The name Fairlane was taken from Henry Ford's Fair Lane manor which is located in Dearborn, Michigan. The Ford Fairlane was launched in the year 1955 as Ford's full size car model. The Ford Fairlane was assembled and available as a 2 door club sedan, a Victoria 2 door hardtop, a 4 door town sedan, a Sunliner convertible, a Crown Victoria, and a Crown Victoria with a plastic top. The height of this vehicle is quite low, and it was further reduced by two-inches. The Ford Fairlane is a rear wheel drive type car and is equipped with a V8-cylinder engine.
