Eddie Bauer is a popular name-brand clothing store that sells apparel, accessories and a variety of outdoor products for men and women. The store was founded by a Seattle man of the same name in 1920. Today, there are 380 stores located throughout North America.Eddie Bauer was a known outdoorsman in the Pacific Northwest. Having knowledge of the outdoors, he created products that were meant to provide comfort in a variety of climates. After nearly freezing during a winter outing, Eddie Bauer came up with a patent for his 'Skyline' jacket, which used goose down to create extreme warmth. Four years after its creation, Eddie Bauer patented the product.In addition to men's and women's apparel, Eddie Bauer sells travel gear, diaper bags, car seats, and camping equipment. Eddie Bauer's full line of camping equipment and gear provides items such as tents, sleeping bags, packs, radios, and survival equipment. Like so many other Eddie Bauer products, the camping gear was all inspired by the founder's love of the outdoors. Bauer designed all of his products to specifications that he'd want from his wilderness equipment.Eddie Bauer tents are built to sleep parties of up to nine people. The 14x10 two-room cabin has a climate-controlled venting system, louvered windows to encourage air flow, and an LED light for illumination. This tent, like so many other modern Eddie Bauer tents, has electrical ports. These ports will accommodate a television, radio, hair dryer, or other electrical device. Smaller Eddie Bauer tents include the 3x4 Sportdome, which can comfortably sleep up to four people, and the 12x10 Family Dome, which can accommodate up to six.
