With the launch of the King Cobra COMP drivers, Cobra Golf has entered two distinct market segments. The popular King Cobra SZ line of drivers comes under the well established pure titanium segment. The King Cobra COMP driver is one of the best performers in the titanium/composite line of golf drivers. The heavier titanium crowns have been replaced by lightweight composite crowns. As the material is lighter, drivers with larger face areas and head sizes can be made. Its Dual Weighting System has optimal low and back weighting, allowing for higher launch angles and greater carry distance across all the nine hot points of the club face. The King Cobra COMP driver sets are available in three different models. The 454 COMP, 414 COMP, and 414 COMP TOUR. The 454 and 414 sets have ultra lightweight 45 gram Mitsubishi Rayon shafts, these encourage higher swing speeds for greater carry distances. These shafts have low resin/high carbon fiber content that have a superior feel and accuracy. The King Cobra COMP TOUR has a Fujikura Vista Pro 65 shaft for a complete professional performance.
