The Ski-Doo REV 800 snowmobiles are the snowmobiles fitted with the REV Platform with an 800cc engine. Ski-Doo snowmobiles are manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products. The company was founded in 1942 by Joseph Bombardier.

The Ski-Doo REV platform was first used in the MX Z model for 2003, when it was received very well. Since then, the REV benefits (driver-centered design for better handling, less impact from bumps, easier maneuverability and cornering, natural transition to stand-up riding, and a less tiring ride) have been adapted for several types of riding, under the 'R series.' For big horsepower, Ski-Doo uses the RT platform. For ultra lightweight and economical applications, the RF platform. There are also other variations of the REV adapted specifically for certain riding styles.
