The Miami Dolphins are one of four teams in the Eastern Division of the AFC. They play in the Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida, in the famous aqua and orange. They started as an expansion team franchise that was awarded to Joseph Robbie and Danny Thomas in 1965, but have developed into a dynamic team. The Dolphins have had an incredible history of successes, although in their first four seasons, they didn't win any games. The Dolphin's coach at this time was George Wilson, and he was eventually replaced by Don Shula. Shula has a reputation of being one of the most successful coaches ever and he remained as the Dolphin's coach throughout most of their history. Under Shula, the Dolphins began to win; they were the first NFL team to finish a season undefeated back in 1972. In all, the Dolphins have won twelve Division Titles, five Conference Championships and appeared in the Super Bowl five times. Of their Super Bowl games, they won two. The late '80s marked the start of some up and down periods for the Dolphins. 1988 saw their first losing season in a long time. In the early 1990s, they rebounded a bit but had trouble again in 1993 with player injuries. As always, they recovered their momentum, though. Dolphins tickets for single games are available in the categories of Upper Sidelines, Upper Corners and Upper Endzones. As usual, better seating for Dolphins tickets is found through group ticket purchases and season ticket purchases. Single game Dolphins tickets may become unavailable as the season goes on, but they can nearly always be found listed on internet auction websites. See More Dolphins Tickets at Stubhub! |
