The Lite-Brite Cube from Hasbro has provided youngsters with glowing fun for decades. The Cube allows you to make pictures out of tiny little lights. You can create pictures on three different sides and save the fourth side for a spontaneous improvised light design. All told, you get more than 400 pegs and two storage trays.

Even though the included light bulb usually lasts a long time, parents may want to stock up on extra bulbs. (The game is far less fun without the light up action.)
