Littlest Pet Shop is a product line from Hasbro, featuring animal figures, their small props, and their play settings. The figures are all designed to look like tiny animals with huge eyes. Most of the pet figures from Littlest Pet Shop contain small magnets. The tiny magnets allow certain items to temporarily stick together. For instance, a child can dress and re-dress a Littlest Pet Shop pet with a festive party hat, pretty bow, or bowler hat; magnets make it easy to attach and detach all three costume pieces.

Figures and their accompanying props and costumes are often packaged in thematic sets. For example, the 'Birthday Pack' of Littlest Pet Shop figures contains three cute figures--a dog, cat, and mouse--as well as a number of party props and costumes. These thematic pieces include a punch bowl and cups, wrapped presents, birthday cake with separate pieces of cake, festive party hats, invitations, balloons, and more. All the tiny pieces are designed along the 'Birthday' theme.

One of the distinguishing features of Littlest Pet Shop is its unusual and often funny animal combinations. Bulldogs are sold alongside tiny kittens; cats are paired with birds or fish. In addition to the small plastic figures, Littlest Pet Shop pets are also sold as plush toys.
