A swing is one of the favorite past times for children the world over. A swing is hanging seat suspended from a wooden or metal frame. Wooden swings are quite heavy and need to be guarded against water and snow to prevent warping. Although wood gives a much more traditional look and feel while swinging, plastic swing sets are now much lighter and durable compared to wooden swing sets. They can withstand rough weather all year long and are virtually maintenance-free.
